Top Fives
It's very popular in this fandom — and really any fandom with multiple entries — to rank your favorites. I don't really dwell on this kind of thing, but for the sake of completion I'll include my top five favorites from this series.

Favorite characters
I've mentioned all of my favorites across the site, but here's how they stack up overall.
- Lightning (FFXIII)

- Squall (FFVIII)
While the first four are set in stone, I could pick half a dozen other characters for the last place. Cloud and Clive are particular runners up.

- Emet-Selch (FFXIV)
- Kefka (FFVI)
- Yotsuyu (FFXIV)
- Rufus Shinra (FFVII)
- Caius (FFXIII-2)
Kefka was on top for many years, but there's really no beating Emet-Selch, sorry.
Favorite jobs

- Arithmetician
All I need now is for FFXIV to give me Arithmetician and I'll be set.

I cannot narrow down my favorite songs from the entire series, so let's just do soundtracks.
